Empower Young Women. Inspire Change.

Female-Only Supported Housing ¦ Ages 18-25 ¦ Day & Waking Night Shifts

About Us:

At MTVH Support, our vision is simple: ”Everyone has a home and the opportunity to live well.” We believe in creating sustainable and vibrant neighbourhoods where our customers feel safe, supported, and empowered. With over 57,000 homes and serving more than 120,000 residents, our dedicated team plays a crucial role in turning this vision into reality — we care, we dare, and we collaborate to create People Powered Living.

The Role:

We’re looking for inspirational, compassionate, and resilient female Support Workers to join our 24/7 supported accommodation service for vulnerable young women aged 18-25. This role is about more than providing support — it’s about nurturing potential, empowering independence, and helping each young woman build the confidence to create a brighter future.

You’ll work closely with young women facing complex challenges, including mental health struggles and crisis situations. Collaboration is key — you’ll work in partnership with Social Services and other multi-agency professionals to deliver holistic, trauma-informed support tailored to each customer’s needs.

You’ll work flexibly across a Monday to Sunday rota, covering a mix of day and waking night shifts, ensuring 24/7 support is always available.

What You’ll Do:

- Build meaningful, trust-based relationships with young women to support their journey towards independence and social inclusion.

- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support, helping customers navigate challenging situations with compassion and calm.

- Develop and implement personalized support plans and risk assessments rooted in Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) principles.

- Collaborate with Social Services and external agencies to provide holistic, wraparound support.

- Inspire a positive, nurturing culture that empowers young women to build resilience and take control of their lives.

About You:

We’re looking for passionate individuals who:

- Understand what exceptional person-centred support looks like and strive to deliver it every day.

- Have experience supporting young people at risk, former LAC (Looked After Children), or those Leaving Care.

- Are skilled at handling mental health crises and challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.

- Possess excellent communication, IT, writing, and reporting skills.

- Can confidently conduct meaningful key-working sessions, offering guidance and emotional support.

- Know how to de-escalate situations and use problem-solving skills to create safe spaces.

- Are experts in developing, reviewing, and embedding support plans and risk assessments.

- Excel at building positive relationships with external agencies and customer support networks.

- Embrace our core values and work passionately to embed them in everything you do.

Why Join Us?

- Work with a passionate team dedicated to empowering young women.

- Make a real difference by helping customers build resilience and thrive.

- Be part of a workplace where your skills and compassion are valued and nurtured.
